A new VET Data Streamlining program is set to replace AVETMISS 8.0 and change the way information is submitted for all providers.

  Publications and Updates released by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research

NCVER has released a number of documents this week, including an update to the standard enrolment questions for AVETMISS releases 7.0 and 8.0, its annual report, and a new research publication about engaging young early school leavers in vocational training.

  ANZSCO identifier, 2021 Release (Occupation) (Revised 2023)

This classification is made available in electronic format to assist those organisations providing data compliant with AVETMISS. The ANZSCO classification is a code that uniquely identifies the type of occupation which a client would be qualified in on completion of a qualification undertaken as part of a training contract.

  National VET Data Policy

The Australian Government has released a new data policy for Vocational Education and Training. The Policy has a range of amended requirements for RTOs including amended mandatory student enrolment declarations, clarification on the Australian Privacy Principles & changes to AVETMISS reporting exemptions. The new requirements take effect 1 January 2018.
