These staff profiles provide a method of capturing information to demonstrate how trainers/assessors meet the requirements of SRTO 1.13-1.16 and SRTO 1.21-1.25. There are two products, one for staff delivering vocational qualifications and a second for those delivering TAE products.

Please note that the revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations were publicly released on 1 October 2024 and will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025. 

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 will continue to apply until then.

This template is based on, and refers to, the requirements for the current regulatory environment.

Trainers and Assessors are required to demonstrate how they meet the HR requirements outlined in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.  These requirements are detailed in SRTO 1.13-1.24.  It is the RTO’s responsibility to capture how each trainer and/or assessor meets these requirements.
