Flexible and Remote Working Policy (Template)

This policy template provides a base level of guidelines for your RTO to ensure that staff are aware of their rights and responsibilities when working remotely, including from home.

Please note that the revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations were publicly released on 1 October 2024 and will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025. 

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 will continue to apply until then.

This template is based on, and refers to, the requirements for the current regulatory environment.

Flexible and remote working arrangements are now an expectation of employees, and it is important for RTOs to be considering this as an option for staff but also be mindful of any legislative requirements that must be met.
