Please note that the revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations were publicly released on 1 October 2024 and will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025.
The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 will continue to apply until then.
This webinar recording refers to, and is based on, the requirements for the current regulatory environment.
Topic Overview:
One of the objectives of the Standards for RTOs 2015 is to provide protection for learners. There are a number of clauses in the Standards that have been written with this purpose in mind, particularly Clause 4.1 – a lengthy description of what can and cannot be included in marketing material.
Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) need to closely examine their marketing material and practices to ensure compliance with the Standards, along with other legislative requirements, and ensure they are following ethical marketing practices. This webinar provides practical examples with activities analysing marketing material and determining what ‘compliant’ materials look like, including social media, websites and print material.

She also specialises in eLearning consulting, with a particular focus on the Canvas LMS by Instructure.
