Velg Training Trainer/Assessor Vocational Competence Equivalence Suite

This product contains vocational competency resources to assist RTOs trainers/assessors in meeting their requirements in demonstrating vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.

Please note that the revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations were publicly released on 1 October 2024 and will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025. 

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 will continue to apply until then.

This template is based on, and refers to, the requirements for the current regulatory environment.

Trainers and Assessors are required to have vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.  Resources within the Velg Training Trainer/Assessor Vocational Competence Equivalence Suite will provide a high level guide/example as to how a trainer/assessor may demonstrate the requirements, by either holding the competency they are delivering or demonstrating equivalence of competency.   

The Vocational Competence Equivalence Suite contains a:

• Vocational Competence Equivalence template

Both the vocational competence equivalence example mapping tool and vocational competence equivalence template are fully customisable files and can be altered by the RTO and relevant Trainers and Assessors.
