EOI for new ASQA Stakeholder Group
ASQA has launched expressions of interest for membership to its new Stakeholder Liaison Group (SLG). As part of ASQA’s renewed focus on providing a more responsive regulator, the new liaison group will consist of diverse membership, nominated from within the VET community. It is anticipated that the new advisory group will offer an additional forum for discussion and collaboration with providers.
The primary purpose of the SLG will be to engage with providers and other stakeholders regarding ASQA’s approach to education and the way in which the regulator engages with providers. The forum will also provide the opportunity to identify and respond to key issues which providers may be experiencing.
ASQA encourages a diverse mix of applications from both ASQA-regulated VET providers as well as VET sector consultants holding a leadership position within their organisation. A motivation to advance the interests of providers and a commitment to developing the VET sector in Australia are prerequisites for consideration.
