Join us 16-20 March to hear about different aspects of quality design. There will be 5 topics aimed at complimenting and increasing existing knowledge.Learn from our most highly regarded experts as they share their knowledge and valued content via webinar. Attend one or all! The choice is yours.
The pivoting quality principle behind quality is: “If you can’t measure it then you can’t control it” and is classically associated with ensuring: Engagement with Industry; Designing the TAS; Marketing; Enrolment; and Identifying student support needs; are designed to get it right before we train and assess.Training organisations have always prided themselves on their ‘Quality Control’ during the training and assessment phase and it was only when they started to investigate their approach to quality that they realised the omission of ‘Quality Planning’ controls was contributing to their inability to provide customers with the quality outcome they wanted. This webinar will unpack the main advantage of embedding ‘Quality’ in the Design and Planning phase of all of the RTO’s business processes.
Effective online learning environments that prepare students to be work ready are born at the design stage! Whether you are responsible for the creation of a brand-new online offering, or converting a traditional course into an online delivery model, there are some critical components of the online course development/design process that can have a huge impact. This webinar will provide an overview of online course design considerations. Explore the selection of a learning approach, visual design, learner engagement and accessibility of content in this webinar, delivered by an online learning expert!
Designing and producing effective and purposeful training can be tricky! In this webinar Marc Ratcliffe, CEO and owner of MRWED, will share his expertise when it comes to training design and course development. This webinar will explore the importance of analysing the training needs of your clients/cohorts to inform the design of training solutions and products, the use of workplace capability requirements to shape your program, the design of training that maintains desired VET workforce standards and resources that support best practice training.
When designing a Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS) an RTO must take into consideration the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2015, but what else informs the design of a TAS?A TAS should always be fit for purpose! Which is why when designing (or re-designing) one we should be thinking about the intended learner cohort of students and meeting their needs. The TAS design will need to take into account some critical, informing factors including the ever-important industry consultation. Unpack what should be taken into consideration, the influence of industry and what ‘good’ consultation looks like in this focussed webinar about TAS design.
In the past RPL has often been an overwhelming process for the candidate AND for the assessor. It has often degenerated into a meaningless and exhausting paper chase. This session will look at a number of concepts that should drive the design and implementation of an effective and efficient, user-friendly RPL process.Join John Dwyer, the expert of all things RPL, as he addresses the 12 key concepts that will assist you in designing an RPL process that is practical and relevant to your RTO’s needs.
