Q. What is the COVID-19 Safe Plan for the Venue?
A. Please refer to Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre website for the venue’s current COVID-19 update.
Q. Will there be tea and coffee facilities?
A. Tea and Coffee can be located inside the Exhibition Hall 2 and will be made available during all break times throughout the event.
Q. Will delegates be catered for across the event?
A. All delegates will receive arrival Tea & Coffee, Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. If you have purchased the Face-to-Face ticket plus Welcome Function, Drinks and Canapes will be provided at the evening event on the Thursday night.
Q. Where do I go when I arrive at the venue?
A. Please head to the Registration Area located in the Main Foyer just outside Great Hall 1 – you won’t be able to miss us!
Q. Will I receive a Statement of Attendance for my professional development records?
A. Yes, please see how you will receive them based on your ticket type below:
Face-to-Face tickets: A Statement of Attendance will be sent out electronically along with the recordings and resources to your registered email 7 days post Conference.
If you miss the event and watch the recordings post-event, you can register to receive a Certificate of Completion via the link on the recordings page.
Recordings Only: You will receive an email with the link to the recordings and resources.
Once you have watched them you will need to register to receive a Certificate of Completion via the link on the recordings page.
Q. How do I provide feedback on the conference?
A. You will be provided with a link to our Feedback form post-event, along with a link to access the Recordings and Resources.

Q. I would like to interact with my peers at the conference via social media, will there be wireless internet (Wi-Fi) available?
A. Yes, free Wi-Fi will be provided. More information about access will be released closer to the Conference and will be provided in the Conference Handbook.
Q. Can I come and go from sessions?
A. Absolutely, but please be understanding of other participants and keep disruptions to a minimum.
Q. I am interested in several sessions and some of these conflicts. Is there any way I can access the training for conflicting sessions?
A. Yes, all attendees, regardless of ticket type, will receive a link to their registered email address within 7 business days post conference with access to all session recordings and resources.
Q. Do I need to carry the lanyard with me?
A. Yes, you need to wear your lanyard at all times as this will grant you access to all areas of the Conference.
Q. What happens if I forget my lanyard on Day 2?
A. Please visit a Velg Training Staff member at the Registration Area located in the Main Foyer just outside Great Hall 1 and they will arrange for a new lanyard to be printed.
Q. Do you have a Cloak Room?
A. Yes, Access for the Cloak Room will be available on Friday 1 November 2024.
Q. Is there anywhere I can charge my phone/laptop?
A. BCEC have charging stations available throughout the venue. However, there will be a cost associated with this service.
Q. Where can I find a First Aid Kit?
A. If you require first aid assistance, please go to the BCEC Registration Desk located on the ground floor near the main entrance.
Q. Is there parking at the venue?
A. Undercover car spaces are available for Early Bird Parking. A $16.00 flat fee is available to those guest that arrive before 9.00 am and exit by 18.00 pm.

Q. Where can I get a Taxi from?
