Connect ‘n’ Grow – an award-winning RTO - was founded in 2012 by Michael Gleadow (a former school teacher) and Naomi Gleadow (a medical doctor) off the need to improve the health and well-being of low socioeconomic status students from remote and very remote communities across Northern Australia. This led to the development and delivery of a health and community services program with wraparound support that presents routes into tertiary education and employment.

Connect ‘n’ Grow offers the dual Certificate II + Certificate III Health & Community Services program via the Binnacle Lounge (the same online platform currently serving over 250 Queensland schools with Binnacle Training’s Certificate programs in Business, Sport and Fitness). This year, a pilot program (dual Certificate II Health program) has successfully been implemented in 14 schools across the State. AUSTSWIM is Australia's national organisation for the teaching of swimming and water safety and has developed quality aquatic education programs for those wishing to enter the aquatic industry as a teach of swimming and water safety. AUSTSWIM teachers are in high demand. To assist with the industry shortage AUSTSWIM have been working with High Schools to help students obtain the AUSTSWIM qualification, gain QCE credits, increase skills and knowledge and become more employable.
