Founder - Digital Literacy Licence

Digital Literacy Licence (DLL) is the brainchild of Kerri Buttery, who founded the company in 2021 after a rewarding, decades-long career in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

Kerri's first foray into education saw her delivering VET in Schools (VETiS) programs in Queensland as a qualified secondary school teacher. This evolved into working as an auditor in the VET sector, then as a consultant assisting RTOs in maintaining compliance and delivering quality eLearning solutions

Kerri is also the founder of VETNexus. An Organisation that works alongside education providers to strengthen the relationship between compliance, technology and innovation.

Marc Ratcliffe

Chief Executive Officer of MRWED Training and Assessment

Marc Ratcliffe is a globally recognised leader in vocational education, renowned for his dynamic approach to training. As CEO and founder of MRWED Training and Assessment, he has dedicated over 30 years to enhancing trainer capability. A passionate advocate for "edu-tainment," Marc blends engagement with expertise, making learning both impactful and enjoyable. With extensive international experience, he continues to shape the future of training through innovation and best practice.

Michelle Charlton

Principal, Write On Resources

As the Principal of her organisation, over the last decade, Michelle has built her reputation as a trusted provider in Australia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Michelle and her team are well-known for specialised VET and RTO support services including:

  • Assessment and document review
  • Assessment validation
  • QA services
  • Skills Education professional development information and activities – including:
  • TAE Trivia
  • the Education Matters learning and resources hub
  • the Australian Community of Learning about recognition of prior learning, RPL Matters

Michelle is an experienced presenter and facilitator, a qualified trainer and assessor, and has industry qualifications and experience in project management, leadership and management, training and education, and business operations.

She holds tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Adult and Vocational Education, Training and Development, Digital Learning, and Education Studies. Michelle is currently looking for her next post-graduate qualification.

Natalie Oostergo

Associate Director of Student Success at the University of Southern Queensland

Natalie Oostergo SFHEA (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director of Student Success Advising at the University of Southern Queensland where she leads the implementation of strategies to support the diverse learning needs of students. 

Natalie is an innovative and strategic thinker with over twenty years of experience in tertiary and vocational education. Her career highlights include receiving an Australian Award for University Teaching, becoming a HEA Senior Fellow, IEAA Associate Fellow, and making lasting connections with students. Natalie lives and works on Jagera and Turrbal Country in Meanjin Brisbane.

Sharaf Goussous

Chief Executive Officer, XponixAI Director, Skills Leap Australia

Sharaf Goussous is a Melbourne-based entrepreneur and technologist specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education Technology (EdTech). As the Founder and CEO of XponixAI, he leads the development of AI-driven solutions for education, workforce training, and organisational knowledge management. His work focuses on AI-powered assessments, personalised learning, and automation tools that enhance efficiency across industries.

Sharaf also heads Skills Leap Australia, an EdTech and eLearning solutions provider dedicated to modernising vocational education and training (VET). Through Skills Leap Australia, he delivers innovative digital learning platforms and learning & assessment solutions that help individuals and organisations adapt to the evolving skills landscape.

Holding a Master’s in Business Information Technology from RMIT, Sharaf has also completed executive education in Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School and Exponential Thinking at Singularity University, equipping him with the foresight to navigate emerging technologies and industry shifts.

A frequent speaker at industry events, he advocates for AI’s role in education, workforce development, and digital transformation. Sharaf’s mission is to bridge the gap between AI, education, and industry, empowering organisations with the future of intelligent learning and training.
