Session Overview

Like most people in the VET sector, you have probably been asked to design, develop, or update a training course at some point in your career.

Whether it is something as ‘simple’ as preparing a PowerPoint presentation for a course or information session, designing student learning materials, or even putting together an e-learning program, most of us are familiar with this challenge. While designing training courses, or ‘Instructional Design’ is a specific discipline and very narrow field of study, knowing some of the basic principles can make your work stand out.

This Presenter will show you how to enhance the training courses, presentations, or e-learning programs you are asked to create to be outcome-focused, engaging, and based on sound, evidence-based instructional design principles.
