We will investigate how to develop the skills associated with working in productive groups, while also facilitating a sense of purpose and fun. We will explore a thinking tool to assist groups solve problems by the use of a simple structure. We will also examine the importance of learner voice and ways to encourage learners who do not initially appear confident in your sessions. Together we will trial the ‘Clan Continuum’: a great way for learners to be active as they investigate a process with sequential steps. As part of each of our sessions together we will plan forward, looking at possible challenges and ways that we might overcome them using good practice. Bring your challenges along to the session and we will think of possibilities together. We will complete our session with an innovative opportunity for Reflective Practice that you can use with your learners and in conclusion answer any burning questions you may have!
