This 1.5 hour webinar is from our suite of Your Way offerings. It is ready to be presented to your staff at a time that suits you! Need more information? Simply fill out our enquiry form below for a quote.

Session Overview

This webinar will look at writing and developing Multiple Choice questions as part of your VET delivery and assessment. It is often thought that Multiple Choice questions are not applicable to VET; additionally, people assume they are the easiest assessment questions to write. These are incorrect assumptions.

Based on many years of experience writing formal assessment questions for local, state, national and international assessments, Dave Tout will share with you some of his insights on:

  • the benefits and challenges of writing Multiple Choice Questions
  • how to write good Multiple Choice Questions
  • an alternative type of Multiple Choice question – what ACER refers to as a CMC

Dave will provide helpful tips and advice on best practices when developing Multiple Choice questions, regardless of online or face-to-face delivery. He will also provide insights into how to write questions that are designed to be more accessible to learners with LLN issues.
