The Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS) is such an important document (or set of documents!) and is the RTO’s map for the training products on offer. There are specific details that are required to be accurately recorded and kept up to date!
Industry consultation also has an incredibly powerful influence on the TAS and the way your RTO delivers and assesses its offerings. So, how do we check to ensure our TAS is current and contains everything it needs and reflects current practice? How can we sense check whether the industry consultation is sufficient and accurately evidenced?
This webinar is focussed on the all-important TAS and the evidence that should be being reviewed by the RTO to ensure it is meeting its obligations when it comes to detail, accuracy and the informs of industry.
This 90-minute session includes 15 minutes dedicated to answering your questions and participants will be provided with supportive resources to assist back in the workplace.

- Is the information in the TAS reflective of current practice and detailed to the required level?
- Are we meeting the requirements for industry consultation?

Angela McGregor is the owner and principal consultant of RTO Consulting who has been offering consulting services throughout Australia, providing guidance, coaching and assistance to businesses wanting to become a RTO, existing RTOs and businesses wanting to develop nationally accredited courses and those looking to establish systems and processes to ensure compliance.
As a practitioner dedicated to sharing knowledge, Angela has consulted through many forums pertaining to compliance issues and improvement strategies for training and assessment services. Angela is known for her current industry, knowledge and success in developing accredited courses and track record in setting up RTOs and assisting RTOs with compliance against the VET Quality Framework.
